Ritualization and response: A ritualized exploration into that which we see and that which we feel.
This body of work is responsive to seasonal changes and explores not-always-perceptible connections between the self and world(s) or environments in which we reside (imaged, real, and somewhere-in-between). The emergent, and often ritualized gestures to create these images involves dance, movement, and intentionally letting go of expectations upon entering into the creative process and creative space. As such, both form and content become known, or take shape, through the repetition of thinking, doing, moving, breathing, and creating.
